No winners: the reality of short sentenced prisoners

Research in partnership with the Prison Governors Association

The focus of the study is adult men serving sentences of up to 12 months in local prisons in England and Wales.

The purpose of this research is to identify proposals for change to the current system aimed at reducing the use of short term prison sentences.

A team from the University of De Montfort has been appointed to undertake the evaluation of U R Boss.
