I welcome the increased reporting in child abuse cases following the tragedy of Baby Peter’s death, revealed in figures released by the NSPCC.В  We all have a responsibility to love, care for and protect all children.В  This means institutions all have to be child centred and safeguarding must be seen in the widest possible context.
