Fundraise at music festivals

Last summer we sent over 20 volunteers to 7 different music festivals and raised over £3000 for the Howard League. This summer we want to better that.

Jason from Herts Uni said, "I just wanted to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to work at Reading. I had an awesome experience and would do it again in a heart beat."

We are looking to add to our fantastic team of committed volunteers to help us raise money by staffing the bars at next summer's hottest festivals and one-day music events. Working with the Workers Beer Company, a highly reputable and fantastic organisation, we are giving supporters of The Howard League a chance to attend these events for free!

See photos from this summer's shenanigans.

To register as a potential volunteer all you have to do is:

1. Be a paid up member of The Howard League (not just a member of a student group). This costs only £18 per year for students, or £1.50 per month: sign up online

2. Send an email to hannah.mcfaull@howardleague.org with the following details:

Name:
Email address:
Mobile Tel:
Date of birth:
Address:
Name of referee (e.g. employer or lecturer) and contact telephone number:

3. I also need a passport style photo which fulfills these requirements:

  • Photo ID pictures should be passport style head and shoulder shots.
  • The image file should be in jpg format at size 640 x 480 pixels maximum.
  • Please rename your file in the form Firstname[space]Lastname[space]organisation.jpg

4. Join our Facebook group 'I'm a Howard League festival volunteer'

Not only is this a great way to support a charity that you care about, but it is also great fun.

Any questions or queries, look on the Howard League student Facebook group, or email hannah.mcfaull@howardleague.org
