Policy and Public Affairs Internship

The Howard League for Penal Reform requires an intern who can provide support within the policy and public affairs team, primarily with the research and development of a number of new projects. As part of the programme, training and development opportunities will be provided.

Membership Intern

The Howard League for Penal Reform is offering an internship in membership and support services.  This is an exciting opportunity to develop a wide range of skills in managing membership and supporters in the voluntary sector.

The Howard League for Penal Reform has a wide support base and is developing its membership services.  The intern will work closely with the membership development officer to create new innovative services for our members and supporters.

Training will be provided in all areas of data management, website recruitment and fundraising. Internships are available for a minimum of 3 months.

The position is based at the Howard League for Penal Reform’s offices in North London. We will pay travel (London Zone 1-6) and lunch expenses.

Legal volunteering opportunities

From time to time the Howard League's legal department will recruit volunteers to help us with our legal work. These applications will be regularly reviewed and volunteers will be recruited on an on-going basis subject to the requirements of the legal team.
